GIFEC launches a special Artificial Intelligence challenge for 4th grade engineering students at ESILV.

For 6 months, several groups of 4th-year engineering students at ESILV will reflect on the positive impact of AI on the industry and propose algorithm models to address predefined issues. For this, each group will be accompanied and coached by members of the GIFEC.

The objective of this challenge for GIFEC: to contribute to the training of future engineers, while remaining as close as possible to the labour market and its trends.

The 3 issues students will have to address during their project are:

  • 1. Cybersecurity: How to use AI to secure the use of customer data?
  • 2.  Customer data valuation: How to make sense of these data and predict future behaviors?
  • 3 . Production improvement: How can AI optimize the production of mechanical parts to meet future customer demands?

Students will spend 10 hours a week until March. The results will be presented at the GIFEC MEETINGS in Marseille, on May 22, in front of more than 200 professionals. The winners will be chosen by the jury.
