On Tuesday, January 21st, GIFEC held its first plenary session of the year at the Maison de la Mécanique in Courbevoie.
On this occasion, we had the pleasure of welcoming Rubix France, the French leader in industrial supplies and solutions, working hand in hand with its supplier partners to support French factories.
For his first visit to our members, Alexandre Labasse, CEO of Rubix France, accompanied by Marc Lecorvaisier, Director of Services, presented Rubix's organization and strategy.
GIFEC members gained a clearer understanding of how the distributor sees its key role within the industrial ecosystem: acting as an interface between manufacturers and end clients, and building lasting, trust-based relationships with all stakeholders to “make industry easier.”
An approach based on relational proximity, co-construction, and value creation—with tailored solutions adapted to the profiles and needs of each client segment and industry sector.
Our speakers also shared their vision of the common challenges we face:
- attracting and retaining talent while passing on industrial expertise,
- contributing to decarbonization efforts,
- and embracing Industry 4.0 (robotics, AI, on-site and client data collection and analysis).
The discussions continued over lunch, followed by an inspiring conference on AI and its applications, led by @Jeremy ROBIOLLE (@Xerfi).
Rubix evolves its internal organization
Rubix is restructuring its product offering division around three dedicated Business Units. This expertise-based organization enables the company to support the growth of its sales by, on one hand, strengthening collaboration with manufacturing partners, and on the other, by better showcasing its technical solutions in response to customer needs. Three directors have been appointed to lead each of these Business Units:
- Fabien Bourdic for the Power Transmission and Fluidics BU
- Cécilia Chemin for the Protection, Hygiene, and Safety (PHS) BU
- and Patrice Kalfon for the Workshop Tools and Maintenance BU
All three joined the Executive Committee on September 1st, 2024. These Business Units bring together the current Product Marketing and Category Management teams by product family. This reorganization also marks the creation of a new Digital and Marketing division, headed by Audrey Boucher.
Rubix strengthens its product and solution expertise with 3 new Business Units
One year into his role, Alexandre Labasse, President of Rubix France, explains the decision to restructure the offering into Business Units:
“This new organization aligns with the evolution of our network into 36 centers of expertise, aiming to enhance the quality of our products and services. We work hand in hand with our supplier partners to deliver the same level of expertise to our customers, locally, throughout the country. The primary goal of these BUs is to simplify the categorization of product families for our clients. This will enable our teams to become even more knowledgeable and specialized, in order to address specific needs, while continuing to build trusted, close relationships. In doing so, we aim to support the growth of our sales with selected partners, in the service of our clients’ performance.”
These internal promotions reflect the company’s commitment to nurturing and developing Rubix talent.
